How Your Blog Posts Kills Your Blog

Blogging mistakes
Blogging is a lot like you starting a speech; You have to make a good first impression, then you have to keep people interested and engaged in what you deliver in the way you present your statements.
Why would something done to improve another thing kill it?
Well, it's obvious the answer isn't unknown...
Our blog posts are the major reason for keeping a blog but Sometimes what we write about actually leads to our blog's demise...

1. Copying or Plagiarizing other bloggers
Google hates copy pasting and 80% of bloggers seem to enjoy doing this, when you copy and paste your articles you get your blog stuck in Google's list of substandard blogs and though you may find your blog in its search engine, you may rarely or never get clicks from searches...
Do that, you kill your blog gradually...
Although most bloggers claim copying and pasting is allowed in their niche due to its saturation... Obviously, a blogger who knows his onions will blog about an already published article in a unique way... I have read news blog reporting the same news with outrightly different words...
If you want to re-blog a post, be smart in doing that... You may end up falling in a trap...

2. Using poor Blog Post Style
Your post style matters a lot in keeping your blog alive. What font and font size are your posts displayed in?
The wrong font size will definitely kill your blog. A tiny and large font size will make reading difficult...
You should also be wary of the kind of font you use in your posts, fancy fonts are a big turn off. Your font style also matters and the worst of it all is having all your posts in strike through or bold formant. Know when to use each font style.

3. Crafting Confusing Headlines
Your headline is your post title and it is an important aspect of your post because its goal is to entice readers and draw them into your post, but you can’t do that if you use confusing headlines. You can check out my list of blog title generators in here
 Not linking to old posts

Old posts aren't meant to be ignored once they get old, your old posts cab be as useful to your readers as your new posts are... links drive traffic to older posts and make them relevant. You can check how to interlink old posts here.

5. Writing once in a blue moon
I know it isn't always easy to come up with possible blog topic ideas but that doesn't mean you should leave your blog hanging in without being updated for a long period of time. One thing about blogging is the more you post, the more traffic you get. That traffic will gradually slow down and then die off when you stop poshere
.

6. Using just any image on your post
Most bloggers feel that they can google up a picture and use it on their blog because its found on google but the truth is that, a whole lot of these image are copyright and this can land your blog in some big mess... If you need free images for your blog. You can check out my list of sites with free images in here...
