DIY Simple Banner Creation for ads and offer promotion

Hey there, looking for a simple yet effective way to create a banner for your blog, YouTube banner, Facebook ad, adsense ad and other advertisements or better still, you just want to do it for fun! It's always your choice.

There are tons of free banner makers and generators as well as paid services online but sometimes, you might want to break all odds and do something yourself. Although the ability create specific stuff yourself becomes impossible because you don't have a laptop or related but there is always a way out.
Your smartphone should be more than just your buddy or social media agent... Because there are lots of things you can do with it.
For this post, we will be using the Almighty PicsArt application. This can either be a fun tutorial or a serious tutorial all depending on you!

Last time I wrote a post about PicsArt, it was on how to create a simple header image for your blog. If you have a laptop, then this may not be something interesting to you, you have Photoshop and the rest.

The good thing about PicsArt is that, new features keep rolling in consecutively for your pleasure and satisfaction.

Now let's get started

For this post, we will need to decide what kind of banner we want to create. In case you don't know, the most common banner sizes are;
  • 728×90px — Leaderboard
  • 300×600px — Half Page
  • 300×250px — Medium Rectangle
  • 336×280px — Large Rectangle.
There are other banner sizes but they aren't as standard and recommended as the ones listed above.

Before creating your banner, the first thing you do is choosing your preferred banner size and if need be the case, lookup and download some free banner designs or you can just create yours simply.

For the sake of this post, I created a custom Bluehost banner for an affiliate promotion, assuming I don't like the banners made available by the company. below is an example.

The banner is a 300x250 jpg image promoting an exclusive offer which is sure to get the attention of someone looking for a good web hosting but hoping to save some cash.

The only thing I got online was the Bluehost logo. The rest, I did with PicsArt...Though this might not be one attractive or outstanding banner, it's surely going to catch some attention... Because the centre of attraction is written out bold enough. Of cause, who wouldn't want to save 25% of his/her hosting?

I transformed the banner into a 728x90 banner by rearranging it's content (I recreated it).

What if you want to advertise a service on AdWords and other advertising platform?

• The first thing you put into consideration is the banner size. What kind of banner do you want?

 • Next you consider your blog design. You might want to use a related colour to create you banner, if you have a logo, well, it definitely need to grace your banner.

• A call to action is another thing to put into consideration. You would probably need that in your banner.

I created a 300x600 and 300x250 banner image for a paid food tutoring website or school.

Note; There's no site called Karen's Kitchen, as far as I know. I had to create a simple logo for this purpose.
So, I created the banner above from scratch. Aside being beautiful, it was fun trying out something new.

Another example below with an open space for your logo.

Truth is there is more you can actually do with the PicsArt application, providing you know your way around it...

If you found this rather not too useful to you then you can try the free banner creator "Canva". You could also lookup other free banner creators online.

An Unbiased Infolinks Review

Today, I will be going over the adnetwork, infolinks.com in my own way. let's find out if it is a good adsense alternative or one that can be used with adsense. Discovering Infolinks I found out about infolinks while searching for AdSense alternatives when I was unable to get AdSense approved for my account, Then I applied with my previous blog but darn, the blog probably did not meet their demands and I was never approved. Few months laters I got AdSense approved for my blog but that didn't live long enough, to my detriment and after been blown off by the infamous Adsense Disablement ish (made me ditch my previous blog)... Months after setting up my new blog, I had to look for an AdSense alternative, and every research I made, didn't exclude Infolinks, and this made me think highly of them and so I had to give an application another shot, this time within a day, I got approved to display ads on my blog... Bam! Such a nice achievement... Getting To Understa...
