#Day2: Overcoming Procrastination

Overcoming Procrastination

Have you ever tried getting rid of procrastination but find yourself procrastinating about doing what's needed to be done?
#Day2 of my 30 days on a Confused State of Mind. Today, it's about overcoming my biggest struggle, Procrastination.

In case you missed #DAY1 Of my Confused State of mind, You can go read it >>>> Discovering my self-worth

99% of times, I find myself procrastinating but worrying over the fact that I can't fight it! Like whom ever said I couldn't fight it? It's a rough fight and I'm always at the losing end. I feel bad about the fact that I go through this but I'm not ashamed to admit it. Probably spiting it out is one of the ways I've got to fight it.

Who Else Rows the Boat?
The act of postponing and procrastinating isn't peculiar to me, definitely there are a lot more people out there struggling even worse than I. But it doesn't matter, because we are all birds of a feather!
Obviously, it feels so bad to be called a procrastinator but it doesn't feel bad when we procrastinate. We don't care about anything, we just want to keep saying “I will do it”. That is no doubt my favourite statement and I've made use of it even when alone. This shows how much I've been untrue to myself. The last time I drew a timetable, it hung on my wall without being used! So, it takes a hand to draw a timetable but a dedicated mind to play by the rules.

The Ugly Truth About Procrastination
Frivolities aren't worth placing ahead of bigger tasks but how I value them over pressing issues makes me wonder. I've got books to read but I'd rather surf the web aimlessly, because it gives me a relaxed feeling. In the end, all I get is a time to cry over my failure to prepare for a test! Was there ever anyone to blame but the fact that I couldn't assimilate due to the complexity of the notes? I know that such excuses are flimsy but I've got to console myself.

Overcoming Procrastination
Although, I wouldn't scream that I overcame it already but at the end of my present exercise, I hope to share a positive story because, I'm ready to set it right and grab the bull by the horn.

An Unbiased Infolinks Review

Today, I will be going over the adnetwork, infolinks.com in my own way. let's find out if it is a good adsense alternative or one that can be used with adsense. Discovering Infolinks I found out about infolinks while searching for AdSense alternatives when I was unable to get AdSense approved for my account, Then I applied with my previous blog but darn, the blog probably did not meet their demands and I was never approved. Few months laters I got AdSense approved for my blog but that didn't live long enough, to my detriment and after been blown off by the infamous Adsense Disablement ish (made me ditch my previous blog)... Months after setting up my new blog, I had to look for an AdSense alternative, and every research I made, didn't exclude Infolinks, and this made me think highly of them and so I had to give an application another shot, this time within a day, I got approved to display ads on my blog... Bam! Such a nice achievement... Getting To Understa...
